Rebirth is in full swing as is this hot, hot summer. It seems like we get a reboot just about every year between Marvel and DC. Getting a chance to fix all the things that went wrong with your previous reboot while potentially bringing on new readers is always enticing. But just as soon as a publisher will gain new readership, they are bound to lose many as well. Both Marvel and DC gave me a perfect excuse to jump off many of their books, which I did. And guess what, I am saving myself a lot of money and a lot of time that I previously lost reading mediocre books as I was just going through the motions.

I am finding myself enjoying comics as a whole even more with a slimmed down pull list. This has been one of the best things I have done as far as consuming this medium. I would highly encourage anyone going through the doldrums of lackluster titles to do the same. It will make you happier and will make you enjoy comic books even more!
